About this work
A Hard Day's Night is a 72″ × 36″ mixed-media collage hand-carved from dozens of vintage vinyl records — including Beatles pressings from Parlophone, Capitol, and other labels. Each record is hand carved with a wood burning tool, building the silhouettes of John, Paul, George, and Ringo in bold relief from the very medium that first carried their music into the world. Framed and ready to hang.
