David Bowie invented Ziggy Stardust. Then he killed him. That was the whole point.
Ziggy Stardust is built from 15 original David Bowie pressings, based on the Aladdin Sane album cover — the lightning bolt still the most recognizable piece of rock iconography ever put on a face. The records are hand carved into the image they helped create.
